Going Green

Like many companies have caught onto the trend, our company is finding ways to become more environmentally friendly. We recycle paper, plastic and bottle caps. That makes us pretty “green” right? Well on the other hand…as we look up at the fluorescent bulbs above head and wash our hands in sinks with enough pressure to wash a car, we can’t help but wonder…are we “green”? Of course we have tried what we knew, but the fact is none of us are educated on this “green” stuff. We need a little help, well, we need as much help as we can get. What do we look for? Where do we start? Who has time to deal with all this “green” business? We recently found an answer, we’ve joined Climate Wise. Climate Wise is a city-run program that helps businesses of all sizes reduce greenhouse gases and save money. The program sends a green-guru to assess your building and then you make changes. We have decided to write a blog of our process in becoming a more environmentally friendly company. We are not trying to plug Climate Wise or sell you our product. We want to show you how one company can make a difference.
We hope you follow this blog and that it inspires you to do YOUR part in helping the environment. It really is your responsibility to make changes and with free city-ran programs like Climate Wise, your business can do its part. We are doing ours and we challenge you to do yours.
