What we learned from Climate Wise

Well, we attended our first Climate Wise meeting last month. Learned some interesting stuff. What we thought was really cool that one man has a company that is already 100% paperless. We sell products to help people become paperless, but until now we never heard anyone was actually 100% - no-paper! It's something we all should strive for. With technology we really don't need paper.

OK, we all know that Trees help to purify the air that we breathe. Why not scan and send through email instead of a fax?

I'm sure it is not something that most of us get excited about, we get used to a routine. Saving trees might not be something we find thrilling, but it is our responsibility to take care of our earth.

In the meeting with Climate Wise they suggested that having a plan along with specific, measurable goals and deadlines is a great place to start. This is going to be a challenge that pays off in a huge way.

  1. Very nice! I realize that some people are still set in their ways and have a hard time with change, but on the latest Xerox equipment, you can still set an example. What you do is use "Lan Fax and fax from your print driver and not be required to print out a document to fax! You can also have all incoming faxes send to an email address as a PDF or to a folder on your network ;) Who thought faxing could be green!
